Rasikh Salam made his List A debut on 3 October 2018 for Jammu and Kashmir cricket team in Vijay Hazare Trophy 2018-19. He made his first class debut on 30 October 2018 for Jammu and Kashmir cricket team in Ranji Trophy 2018-19.
He made his T20 domestic debut on 22 February for Jammu and Kashmir cricket team in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2018-19. In Indian Premier League he was first time selected in Mumbai Indians team in 2018. Then he was again selected in Kolkata Knight Riders cricket team in 2022.
